I'm into prints lately and this dress by Zero + Maria Cornejo is complete with edge and femininity! When looking closer, you can see that the print is of books on a shelf. Great idea. I'd certainly pair it with this open toe Maison Martin bootie. Sexy!

Grupo Corpo

A friend recently went to see this dance company here at The Walt Disney Concert Hall. I'm sad to have missed it, as I just couldn't work my schedule out while they were here. 


The Grupo Corpo is an exciting dance troupe out of Brazil. The pace and tempo are said to be faster than normal and according to my friend (and reviews) the music is an upbeat, electronic-inspired rhythm. 


I love dance and especially love watching live dancers perform. If they are in your town, check em out.

Diane Von Furstenberg Housewares

I have always been a fan of Diane Von Furstenberg. In my past life, I would rock her signature wrap dresses with honor. I knew early on that this woman understood women.


It's no surprise that I am now enamoured with her housewares collection. Again she scores with bold colors, unique shapes and patterns for days! I'm actually surprised it's taken her this long to launch a housewares line. But I guess you can't do everything...or maybe you can.

The Perfect Jewelry Stand

I've been in the market for a jewelry stand for a few months and I came upon this quirky, fun number. It's comprised of miniature, iron chairs stacked atop one another. You can place rings, bracelets and necklaces of all lengths, shapes and sizes anywhere on the piece - I can't imagine earrings fitting so well, but who cares- cute anyway. 

Isn't it adorable? I'm doing my new place in all white and this guy will be a perfect addition to the environment. Ow, I LOVE!

You're such a girl

When I was young, I dreamt of having a beautiful Vanity in my bedroom. I imagined myself applying my make-up, wishing on a star and just basking over myself in the mirror. Then...I grew up, moved around (a lot), realized that mirrors lie -depending on your light and bought a huge azz mirror. In a flash I forgot about the furniture piece that ignited my love of interior design. 

Until recently.  

Lately, I've been visualizing the things I plan to add to my new pad and the vision of my vanity (Ala Claire Huxtable) has reignited. This vintage- inspired beauty from Pier 1 Imports serves that very purpose. I especially love the reflective glass throughout the frame and the petitness of this little darling. I can see me now...puff, puffing my face and squeezing my perfume while dressed in my pink silk robe and high heeled slippers. "Goodnight Cliff."

Anyone looking for that perfect gift for that perfect someone should check these out. The sound on these radios is, in the words of Callie Torres "Amazing". So crisp, so clear. When I was first introduced to them, I was told you could not use your iPod/ iPhone connector, but that was misleading. After doing my research, I discovered that not only can you connect your mp3 player, but the sound is even better when you do.


The retro styling adds an adorable element to these radios and they come in fun colors or the traditional woods. All at a great price to. I would compare them to the Bose sound systems (yet these babies are much cuter).
