Paris

I have a love affair with Paris. It's only a two hour train from London so there would be days when I'd train it in, walk around and train it back the same day. So many eventful moments have taken place in this sexy city. I even broke my ankle in Paris. I fell down an escalator while wearing high-azz heels and lugging a suitcase-not a good look Jade. I've since learned my lesson: heels without bag (unless it's a really Haute bag!) 

When my Mom visited me in London, we jetted over to Paris for a day. Good times.

My Travels

Bonjour!

I spent two years living in London and traveling the world. Those two years added so much texture to the landscape of my life and I never speak about it. It's amazing what you find when you take stock of your behavior. Along with writing, I documented my travels in photos that I have recently returned to. Viewing these photos and reflecting back to that time in my life is a reminder that things really are Great! They always have been. It's the vantage point that may be fogged.

India (Mumbai) 2007

India was one of my favorite places to visit. I spent eight days in Mumbai. Two of these days was spent about an hour North of India in a little village called, Karjat. I stayed with a wonderful family that is a perfect example of giving back. The Barot's actually live in Mumbai but they used their income to build a school for the children of Karjat, who otherwise would not have access to education. It was, for me, a wonderful example of the importance of paying it forward.
